That was the tagline of the CFL when I was growing up.

Argos! were my team, but I can count on one hand the number of times I went to a game. I saw more Stampeder games. But whatever game you went to see or whichever sport arena in Toronto you went to, there was always the guy naked from the waist up, half of his exposed body painted blue bellowing Argos! like his life depended on it – I kinda miss it

I married a Stealers man and growing up that was the team I cheered for north of the border. Terry Bradshaw, Mean Joe Green. . .those guys I can name, only Argo I remember? Doug Flutie – yup San Diego, Dougie played for the Argos

The only NFL team I’ve seen live are the Seattle Seahawks (no idea who they were playing), chilling in the stands, grasping that cold beer with even colder fingers – truly bored out of my tree as hockey is my game – I threw caution to the wind, although not wearing an ounce of blue paint, I bellowed Argos! would you believe. . .they hollered back?!?!

So this weekend as my American husband watches his American sport simultaneously bringing our American children into the fold of Super Bowl mania. . .momma’s gonna bellow Argos!, you know for old time sake. . .let’s see if anyone answers
