If I could just keep my eyes open. . .

I love my sleep, love to stretch, snooze, slumber. . .love it, and I love it 8 hours worth at a time. Oh the days before children when that was attainable – terribly dramatic, eh? 😉

I must admit, lately by 8:30 in the evening, I’m toast. I have just enough energy to shower, brush and crawl into bed.  A mere ten minutes allotted to the book I’m reading, only because it is so good.

I’m sure you know I was preparing you for pictures of very little progress. . .thanks for putting up with me 🙂

A couple blocks and a Fresh Stitches Bee pincushion.

Eyes, stuffing and a quick seam join. . .maybe tomorrow – Burnie the Bee.

I’ve not actually sewn the above into that large of a block.  I have them in paired strips. . .better shot below:

at first I thought I might use it as background and filler for some of the Seuss blocks – now I’m thinking it may be better used as a border. . .hmmm, whatcha think?

You poor thing, I remember those days of feeling tired all the time.

What book are you reading? I’m currently reading Gone Girl. Love my Kindle!

Love the strips of Suess blocks. I’d get the blocks done and play with it, a border could be perfect!

That is so funny! I just finished reading Gone Girl and thought it was good so I grabbed her book Dark Places 🙂 she writes bad people ever so well, eh?

I starched some more fabric last night, so I should be ready to do some more cutting and building to get the blocks a little more uniform tonight. . .fingers crossed, it was a 4:30 wake up call 😉

I do feel guilty about complaining – I’ve got it pretty good!

Oh that is funny! She definitely writes dark people well. I’m about halfway in and hooked on it.

Hope you get some progress made.

I don’t call it complaining, just venting! 🙂

Looking forward to reading what's on your mind. . .
