Secret tote Swap – completed tote. . .

I really enjoyed participating in this swap, seeing the fabric selections all the way to enjoying the creativity of so many in the secret Tote Swap Flickr group that Lia of Lia*s Handmades created.  I was a little worried, first swap, first tote – but I think it turned out OK.

My partner doesn’t have a blog, nor a flickr account, but she likes purple!

gathered supplies

and something else that I wont mention till I hear from her that she received her package 🙂 but here’s a little hint:

Just in case my tote bag is a little rough around the edges, hopefully what she finds inside will have her forgive me 😉

So, without further ado. . .my secret swap partner’s tote:

I was okahy deciding on the bag dimensions. . .the interfacing I had onhand was 20″ wide, so the tote would be 20″ tall by 22″ wide. . .

long handles. . ?

or

short. . ?

decision made, little lalinsocal label and a key hangy, thingy. . .

looks good. . .now to sew

would you believe I forgot to sew the key hangy thing in place. . .UGH!

but in the end, I’m kinda happy with how it turned out, I hope my partner will be too.

and one more for luck 🙂

thanks for stopping by, tomorrow I’ll show you what a lucky girl I am – thanks mamafairy!

Thank you! The black and white fabric is from Ikea! And it’s one of my favorites 🙂
