auditioning threads. . .

it took me 4 days to cut this lot out.  Nope, wasn’t a particularly difficult pattern at all – let’s just say momma has a LOT of help 😉  that and it being the summer, the nippers have managed to push bedtime way past winter’s 6pm.  Oh, those were the days. . .

Micheal Miller, Maze.

I also knew I better cut both at the same time, or I may not get around to making the second one in a timely fashion. . .

and some Micheal Miller Dots as well.

finally ready to sew, auditioning some threads:

auditioning the blues. . .

might need to buy some better matching purples. . .

maybe the one in the middle. ?

“so whats this gonna be?” you ask. . . Anticipation.

Hmmmm robbing Peter to pay Paul? Drunkards path? Cheers to you for piecing curves. I’m too chicken…..

    Bigger than drunkards path? Hmmm.
And auditioning threads already. I use whatever is vaguely similar for piecing as it doesn’t show anyway. So are you planning ahead to quilting or is there another twist?

I’m making a matching set of naptime pillows for the kids – the little bit of quilting is on the front pocket and I ran out of the light purple thread with just 5 rows to go 🙂 thanks for playing along!

Looking forward to reading what's on your mind. . .
