Nope, momma lazy. . .

Chit chatting with a fellow mommy outside of Nipper1’s summer camp last week, we got on the topic of kids helping and how young is too young. Β My Nipper1 is 3 years old and she loves to help and I try to take the time to let her do so.
That means letting her take items out of the dishwasher, put things in the garbage, rinse the tub and toys after the bath etc., sometimes these turn into momma work creation projects, but I’m in for the long haul!
One of her favorite helping projects is to match Dada’s socks – after sharing this info with the other mommy, she smiled a knowing smile, nodded her head and said a little conspiratorially ‘ah, Montessori.’, to which I replied, “nah, momma lazy”
So on Mondays I’d like to use this blog to just highlight some of the things the nippers and I get up to during the week – might spark a little ‘momma lazy’ momentΒ for you too. . .

the best part of sock sorting duty. . .

The next post will bring you back to the regularity scheduled stitching adventures – stay tuned πŸ™‚

This is lovely. It reminds me when my children were little and helped quite a bit…they still do … :0) m.

Yes! That’s what I’m hoping for, start helping and then it is just second nature. I’m also looking forward to the day I can pass on the bathing the dog chore πŸ™‚

My boys are chief sock sorters in our house! They started at about 3 years old too. Definitely not too young πŸ˜‰

Looking forward to reading what's on your mind. . .
